This is a collaboration with the talented Mexican maker Eduardo Castaño. It was created during the several months we spent together at a workshop in Tottori. The model is based on the Guarneri del Gesù violin “Ysaÿe” from 1740, known for being owned by Eugène Ysaÿe.
It is a bright violin, characterised by its quick response and clarity, while retaining a certain texture to the sound that can only be achieved with fine instruments.
